Granted, neither of those are precisely E, but they are the older models of the same set. Maybe someone else, who reads this thread, has a Dell and knows if there are compatibility ewata with the eSATA port.

The problem might also be the electronics in the external esaata bay, that it is not recognized by any driver in the new versions of Ubuntu. But I’m not concerned about the plain USB port. Email Required, but never shown.
