Nov 21, The Solution So how did Vgwsave eventually fix it? In device manager, the only display adaptor listed is still the Radeon Mobility HDthough this is disabled. Maybe its time to uninstall the chipset drivers and do it all over.

Vgasave is the default windows video driver that has minimum functionality. One timeI booted it up selecting ‘disable driver signature enforcement’ and It worked normally, but not vgassave next time I booted it up.
Win9x drivers where the last I tried.
