Sometimes you’Re lucky and WinXP SP2 install CDs will recognize the controllers right from the start when installing, but in practice, and especially with Asus boards’ Silicon Image controllers, I’ve always had to use the extra floppy disk to feed the drivers.

I would still like to find the Manual for this board sara. So my best guess is something is seeing the drive. Now that the drive is installed, it doesn’t show up anywhere in cmos. Sara posting on our computer help forum, you must register.
